Just a head’s up for anyone in the area. I am playing this Sunday (26th May) at the Sofar Sounds day festival which is taking place in a converted Victorian dairy warehouse in Battersea. Have a look around the venue HERE. Look’s pretty good!

I have put together a two track EP for Record Store Day. Pressed to lush, clear 7″ vinyl and on sale for only one day. 20/04/2013 RECORD STORE DAY! If you are a UK resident and have access to an independent record store, get yourself down there now and cop the full EP PHYSICAL!
The new Aspects album is out TODAY (01/04/2013) and by the Goat of Mendes it’s good!
Boasting productions from talent such as DJ Format, Akira Kiteshi, Evil Ed, 7Stu7, Deed and more. Plus a cheeky production by myself. Can you guess which one??
I have been having fun today. I added a few pans, trays and cymbals to my drum kit and then played the Alesis Micron as I would a drum pad. Really fun to do, and creates a fairly crazy sound! Enjoy!
After the event (which went very well and was well received) myself, Bart and his wife Hinke drove back to their house in Schiedam (the most attractive part of Rotterdam). Bart then proceeded to run me through his expensive, high quality spirits selection, of which three glasses were pored for each of us to share. My god, I don’t really drink but if I ever start, quality is what I want. Some incredible tastes from old whisky’s, ports and brandy’s. After-which we ascended to ‘the music room’ where Bart keeps a collection of thousands of records, CD’s and cassettes in beautiful, wooden cabinets with sliding glass fronts. At this time is was probably two in the morning. By the time we had finished listen through all he wanted to play me and all I knew I wanted to hear, it was seven in the morning and the sky was already a pale blue. The last track we listened to was ‘Spem in alium’ by Thomas Tallis and it was absolutely beautiful at that time in the morning, following what had been such an incredible night.
